About Gay's Healing Touch

My name is Gay Leachman. In 1998 I received a 1200 hour massage therapy certification from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM. I have National Certification and am a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.) I have certification in Swedish Massage, Orthopedic / Sports Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, La Stone Therapy and Kurashova Re-education for Fibromayaligia. I work with Muscle Energy Techniques and Positional Release Techniques. My focus of work is to treat each client individually meeting his or her needs using different modalities. Although I employ a wide variety of modalities, strokes, techniques and skills, I do not focus on a particular method. I focus instead on each client’s needs, striving to perceive how that client’s physical health relates to his or her emotional well-being. That focus allows me to find an appropriate modality or technique so as to help the client integrate physical and emotional health, to best meet his or her own needs.
